He always thought that pray is something more personal for make it for everyone. He thought that before he met Edi. Edi was a good player, even great but that season when David joined the team Edi's game wasn't on the level. David like Edi, he really was and he wanted his friend to be the best. So David decided that he have to pray for Edinson. He didn't tell Edi about it, nobody knows about it. From that moment he needs two minutes more for prays and he become happy with every goal his friend begin to score. Every goal Edi celebrate with him and every time David hugs him a bit stronger with thanks to God.
